Dr. Berger graduated from The New England College of Optometry in 1990. After 3 years of practicing in Nova Scotia, Canada, Dr. Berger returned to his upstate NY roots and settled in The Capital District. He has been in private practice since 1993, having moved to the current East Greenbush location in 2005.
Dr. Berger’s office prioritizes all the benefits of an independent practice, featuring outstanding service and eyewear products unavailable at typical eye care locations. Uptown Optometry is an exclusive distributor of Nikon branded ophthalmic lenses.
We are the only practice in the Capital District providing home visits for homebound and immobile patients. With over 20 years of experience, he brings quality eye care to those who can’t access care elsewhere.
